The School of the Holy Spirit  2011 - Report - Dean of SOHS, Brother Alex

This School of the Holy Spirit was distinctly different from past Schools in three ways:

1. Dr. Ezekiah Francis and Rev. Benita Francis personally oversaw the students over the three month period.

2. Weekend Seminars were conducted during this period which were open to others as well.

3. Couples were welcomed to the SOHS. Before that, Schools were conducted exclusively for brothers.

The SOHS started with much anticipation and excitement. As a team, we were excited about the new
beginning. We were filled with expectation as to what God Almighty would do during these three months.

Seventy-two students arrived on 15th September from Sri Lanka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Burma at the Berachah Campsite at Poondi. A few days into the School, everyone settled into their routines which included a time of prayer, work duties, times of talking in tongues, collective reading of the Word, faith declarations, Word confessions, video sessions, fun and exercise times and much more . Group discussions were done with students taking turns in leading the groups.

Every morning, the students woke up to a collective time of prayer and meditation. They were also given their own personal exclusive times with God. The Word says in Hosea 2:14-20, “Therefore I am going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will sing as in the days of her youth… In that day... you will call Me ‘my husband’... I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; In that day I will make a covenant for them… I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. I will betroth you in faithfulness and you will acknowledge the Lord.”

The Lord betrothed them to Him and gave back many a vineyard. God made Berachah Campsite a Door of Hope. Many of the students sang again as in the days of their youth as their first love for the Lord was rekindled. Students who were absolutely timid and shy ended up translating in sessions, leading worship and leading group discussions. Talents and gifts came to the foreground as God gave them back their vineyards.

The weekend seminars included topics such as Breaking Cruel Curses and Soul Ties, Hearing God’s Voice, Walking and Working with the Holy Spirit, In Christ, Faith, Knowing and Developing your Calling, Making your Family Life a Bliss and Blessing. Dr. Ezekiah and Sis. Benita were the main speakers at all these seminars. Other topics included Worship, Finances, Time Management, Leadership Training and many more by over 35 specially invited guest preachers, counselors and spiritual sons of BPM. Brothers Milton and Hebic ministered as wardens.

God made a covenant with the students at SOHS. The Word again says in Hosea 2:23, “I will plant her for Myself in the land, I will show My love… I will say, you are My people and they will say, ‘You are my God’.”

God proved Himself faithful once more! All praise, glory and honor be to Him alone! Amen.
