The Importance of Grace

Jn.1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
In Christ, you are already overflowing with God’s grace. Your Father God is full of grace, mercy and compassion (Ex.33:19). Your Lord Jesus came to dwell in you with all the fullness of God’s grace. The Holy Spirit who has made His home in you is the Spirit of grace (Zac.12:10). Now, you feed on, drink from and rest in the abundance of God’s grace, and you lack nothing (Ps.23:1-2).
Because of grace you are saved (Eph.2:5,8), justified (Tit.3:7), have received God’s very life and nature (2.Thes.2:16) to reign in life (Ro.5:17). All these blessings are already given to you in Christ. All you have to do is to simply let this grace flow through you.
For every progress in your Christian life, you must draw from the free grace of God, without falling back into your own works and efforts. This is the sin of the Galatians (Ga.2:21). Every growth in purity and righteous living must come from your trust in His grace. Paul lived his life by his faith in the indwelling Presence of Jesus and His gracious accomplished work. The moment you try to live your life by your good works, you fall from God’s grace and fail to use the energy that comes from His grace (Ga.2:20-21; 5:4).
As you began your Christian life based on His grace, you must continue leaning on His grace until the end. The Galatians started their faith life trusting God’s grace but were deceived to lean on their own efforts. This Paul describes as “starting in the Spirit, ending in the flesh” (Ga.3:2-3).
The Gospel is called “Gospel of grace”. You are given God’s grace to proclaim this Gospel to the world (Eph.3:7). You are a wise minister of God by His pure grace (1.Co.3:10). God’s very grace in you activates God’s energizing power in you. This energy helps you to live a powerful Christian life. In this grace we must grow stronger and stronger (2.Ti.2:1).
Thank You, Lord, I’m strengthened inwardly by Your grace every day. My spirit man is well established and strengthened in grace so that I can boldly face all the challenges of life (Heb.13:9). Thank You, Lord, Your throne is the throne of grace, and I can live in Your very throne room all my life (Heb.4:16). Thank You, Lord, even when I speak and live the truth, I need not be a legalist but can be just like Jesus, full of grace and truth.
